After summing up the successful start in 2006 and even more successful sequel in 2007, a new Rokaj tradition has been created.

Rokaj Fest is largely recognized brand in Croatia, even the whole region. In the spirit of what´s been achieved so far, project and brand Rokaj continue to move on up, with an idea of growing and developing into an even greater event, possibly a movement.

Discovering Jarun last year as the new music destination in Zagreb, Rokaj Fest 2008 will be held at the same open air location, Otok Hrvatske mladezi (Croatian Youth Island), Jarun Lake, from July 4th – July 6th, right after Euro 2008, and as such it remains the only 3-day music festival in Zagreb to be held on weekends.

With the festival´s growth, it´s been decided that, in its 3rd year of existence, Rokaj Fest expands its program by introducing some of the world´s leading performers.
This expansion does not mean that Rokaj Fest is giving up the idea of promoting and strengthening the local music scene as the priority, but it represents the logical progress of a well-established festival.

Headliners include:
Lemonheads, Godfathers, Wire, The Datsuns, Dwarves, These New Puritans, Kira etc. Along headliners many other bands from Croatia, Italy, France, great Britain, Switzerland, Denmark… are included, like Soprano, Bogart & Addictives, Dead Elephant, Navel, Urban, Partibrejkers, Stampedo, Rambo Amadeus etc.

What remains the festival´s primary objective is a tried & true formula: Strong line up and low ticket price.

Camping is just one of the possibilities offered to you by Rokaj Fest so you can forget about everything except good times!

For Rokaj 2008, there is a free camp for visitors, with few changes enabling an even more comfortable stay.
