Rabac Summer Festival

Rabac is a tourist village in Istria and a large resort town on Kvarner Bay, just southeast of Labin and north of Opatija.

Long just a small fishing port of just thirty homes, Rabac has recently grown into a resort town with numerous apartment buildings and villas.

The Rabac Festival is an annual electronic music festival (house, techno) that has been held there for many years; several thousands people attended every year. The festival is being held at Girandella beach and it represents one of the most attractive party destinations, not only in Croatia. Top DJs perform sets on the beach around the clock. Rabac gets extremely busy at this time of year and booking accommodation is essential.

Visitors from all over the world and Europe to the annual Rabac Summer Festival can dance all night on the Girandella beach, drink cocktails and maybe even have a night-time swim.
The festival starts on 3 August with a smaller-scale party, while the main event stretches across two days, 6 and 7 August, with all-night partying on the beach and an after party until 4pm the next day. Five different dance floors are set up and an international cast of DJs plays everything from techno and house through to rock/pop and disco.

Those with extra energy can also test their sporting abilities at the Maslinica Soccer Tournament on 4 August.
